Remember when…
you use to play barbies…
but barbie had no real problems
she never had to worry about paying bills
or not going out with the other girls to the mall to get all the fashion avenue clothes she wanted
because the country was in a recession
and
all barbie did was get ready for dates with ken
she only had to worry about ken trying to date theresa (which was suppose to be the reject barbie, or ethnic barbie)
or worrying about whether her pink barbie convertible had all four wheels
i said all that to say, i remember the days when things were simple.
and i kinda miss them.
