so i should expect for some guy to "put a ring on it" just from a dance or two in the club? is this based off of the club as in the velvet room sense or magic city sense? because if it's magic city sense i can kinda stretch my logic and somehow find myself to the conclusion that if he likes it up in magic city then maybe he should put a ring on it b/c if he's not trying to then he definitely shouldn't be mad when he want it.
and then i'm thinking to myself, maybe this is somewhat of an inside diss to some dude that was sweatin' her before she married jay and is still doing that dry hatin' so she really made the song for him but is just tryin' to play it off like it is a general song about being in the club.
or maybe i don't really know what i'm talking about since i don't spend much time in anyone's club these days. or because i'm not single? now i'm just confused. do i need to take my man to the club so he can put a ring on it?
